Welcome to our Community!
Oak Hill Elementary serves students in grades K–6 on Evansville’s north side near the airport and is a feeder school to North High School. Founded in 1956, the school has a strong tradition of academic excellence and community involvement. In both 2024 and 2025, the Indiana Department of Education recognized Oak Hill for literacy achievement with over 95% pass rate on IREAD.
In 2024, Oak Hill was also named a Blue Ribbon School. Being named a National Blue Ribbon School is the highest honor a school can receive from the U.S. Department of Education. It identifies us as an exemplary high-performing school, recognizing our commitment to academic excellence and our success in ensuring all students achieve at high levels.

North Attendance District
Students will attend Oak Hill Elementary School from Kindergarten through Grade 6. Students will then attend:
- North Junior High School: Grades 7 & 8
- North High School: Grades 9-12
